By request, I have added a “white tail” option for the Airbus A.220-300 kit. No ‘airline’ decal, just the kit and a set of the 8ADecs “stencils” decal. Note there are no cockpit or cabin windows or door outlines on the ‘stencils’ sheet.

While FunDekals has, sadly, decided to withdraw from the airliner decal market, they continue to produce decals for military subjects and for general use. In this latter category, FunDekals has released four sets of stripe decals. The large sheet provides 5 stripes each of 9 widths, each stripe approximately 9 1/2″ long. The stripes range from approximately 1/64″ up to 1/4″ in width.
While I am on the subject of FunDekals, their airliner decals are all provided without instruction sheets, their intent being that you should download them from their web site, and print if desired. While this gives FunDekals the opportunity to improve and modify their instructions, it can be problematic for some customers who do not have color printers at their disposal. AHS always prints and includes a set of full color instructions with every FunDekals set, where available. If you have purchased a FunDekals sheet elsewhere, and need an instruction sheet, please contact me. I will be happy to mail a set to you for the cost of postage.
FunDekals has released the following stripe sets. FunDekal has not produced instructions, so they are not available or included.
Our decal suppliers have been busy this week, with new releases by Vintage Flyer, 26Decals, and 8ADecs. DRAW Decal has been busy in his personal life this week, he should return with new releases next week. So… lets get started!
Vintage Flyer Decals has released 8 new sets for the 1/144 scale BAC 1-11 kits. There are versions designed to fit the Eastern Express kit and the Airfix kit (with ‘X’ suffixes on the product number).
26 Decals has released three more laser print decals for the Zvezda kit:

8ADecs has released four additional sets for the Zvezda Boeing 757 kit featuring more of the British Airways ‘World Tails’ (aka ‘Utopia’ scheme). Note that all four require Rolls Royce RB211-535C engines that are not provided in the kit.
The Airfix Concorde kit has arrived. It’s most closely resembles the two prototype airframes, 001 F-WTSS and 002 G-BSST. While the kit provides BOAC markings, no Concorde was ever painted in this scheme.
With the arrival of the recently released Zvezda Boeing 757-200 kit at the U.S. distributor, we now have plenty in stock. Imagine, however, our disgust when we learn that our distributor (through a family owned retailer) is selling the kit at a price significantly lower than the base price upon which our “wholesale” price is based. It’s one thing to be in competition with the wholesaler (yes, it’s legally a separate business), but when the owners have the same last name, and the addresses are almost identical…. well… you do the math When they take advantage of their preferred pricing to compete with their own customers, well, business ethics are clearly not part of their vocabulary. Yes it’s legal, but highly unethical.
So, to deal with this, I have decided to offer “kit and decal combos” featuring the kit. Buy any 1/144 scale 757 “airline scheme” decal with a Zvezda 757 kit, save $5 on the package.
To qualify for the discount, your order must contain at least one 1/144 scale 757 “airline scheme” decal of your choice for every Zvezda kit. Decal can be by DRAW Decal, 26Decals, 8ADecs, Flightpath, Apollo Decal, Liveries Unlimited, BOA or AHS (I think that’s all of them!). The only exclusions are the 757 detail decals.
So, place the kit in your shopping cart (see ZVE-7032-Combo ), then add 1/144 scale 757 decals to your cart. You will see the discount added, but at $0.01 value. Upon receipt of your order, I will validate your discount, and apply an additional $5 discount for each 757 kit and decal ordered.
To clarify, if your order contains one kit, and one 757 decal, you will receive a $5 discount. If it contains 2 kits and 1 decal, you will receive a $5 discount. 2 kits and 2 decals – a $10 discount. 2 kits and 3 decals – a $10 discount.
Again, with apologies, I have to manually enter the discount after I have a chance to validate your order. When you place your order, I receive a payment “Authorization” for the full amount. After I validate and apply the discount, I will “Capture” the lesser amount.

Our recent Welsh Models shipment included sets of their new Boeing 747-100/200/300 wing, which features separate flaps and leading edge slats that can be positioned to suit. Parts are moulded in grey resin.
