Druz Resins has released six new sets to improve Boeing 737NG and Boeing 767 kits.
Please be sure to order the correct set of engines for the kit your are building. The Revell Germany and Zvezda kits have different wing cross sections, and the pylons in each set are properly shaped to fit the respective kit. The decals are identical between kit options.
The winglets in the Revell Boeing 737-800 kit are particularly bad, so Druz has produced a set to improve the shape. These can be used on both the Revell and Zvezda kits.

These winglets can be used for both the Revell and Zvezda Boeing 767-300 kits.

We are pleased to announce that X-Scale has released their 1/144 scale Lockheed 188 Electra kit.
Our first shipment is en route from The Ukraine, and is expected here approximately September 15th. This first batch will include some kits with X-Scale’s American Airlines decal, the rest will be packaged with after market decals by Vintage Flyer Decal.
There will be a week or two delay making these decals available as VFD needs time to adjust their artwork to properly fit the X-Scale kit, and to print. Schemes will be announced at a later date, but can be expected to include all current VFD Electra sets, and hopefully with a few new ones. We hope these will be available early October. So… as we know you are anxious to see this long awaited new kit, we will ship the kits that are to contain VFD decals without them, and will then send the decals as soon as they are available.
To wet your appetite…. here are the sprue shots of the new kit. You will notice there are a few ‘extra’ parts that would apply to a P3 Orion…. stay tuned for more news on that front.
The images are not to scale or proportional.

AHS will be stocking a few kits with the XScale American Airlines decal:
We will also be offering the kit with your choice of Vintage Flyer Electra decal. As their artwork needs to be adjusted to fit the kit, there will be a short delay before these will be available.
The latest Druz144 resin engine sets are here. The PW1100G ‘Geared Turbofan’ engine has gained a certain amount of notoriety with the problems occuring with the in-service Airbus A.220 and A320 family aircraft. Separate sets are available designed to fit the Revell or Zvezda A.320NEO and A.321NEO kits.

DRAW Decal began the week re-releasing one of their earliest Boeing 777 sets. The new sheet is a 100% re-design of the original, updated with all their latest and most accurate details and stencils.
With apologies, we missed announcing this batch of Vintage Flyer decals when they were released. These are ‘Flight of Fancy’ schemes, either directly from aviation themed movies, or adding to the fictional fleets of such airlines.
Druz144 has released two new sets to correct the shape of the nose on Revell Germany’s 1/144 scale Boeing 747-400 kit. The first provides the new nose only, the second set adds a detailed cockpit, including seats and pilots.
I have a few sets in stock, and have examined (though as yet I have not fitted one to a kit) teh parts. The nose looks right, and the level of fine detail is outstanding.

The next image shows the removal of the kit nose. A very nice touch is that the resin nose includes a splice overlapping inside the plastic fuselage, thus ensuring a strong joint.
This next image shows the new Druz nose in place:
Decals are provided for the cockpit windows (if filled and painted) and frames. The decals include elements for the instrument panel and center console.
Finally, this set of images show the cockpit interior included with the “NOSECKPT” set. Two sets of four seats with pilots are provided. Yes, the new nose is a single piece, thus no seam to deal with around the cockpit and nose.
With artwork by Jennings Heilig, and printed in Italy by Cartograf, AHS has released a new 1/144 scale screen printed decal for New Pacific Airlines Boeing 757-200.
New Pacific Airlines launched limited services in 2023 using a pair of ex American Airlines, ex US Airways RB.211-535E powered aircraft. Initially these aircraft wore Northern Pacific Airlines titles, however the airline had to change their name following a trademark claim by Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
New Pacific’s initial intention was to operate their 757 fleet from a base in Anchorage Alaska, providing connecting services from the US with destinations in the far east in a manner similar to Icelandair at Keflavik. The Ukraine war, and the subsequent closing of Russian airspace to US registered airlines forced a change of plans, as the 757 lacks the range to link Alaska with these far east destinations using routes that avoid Russian airspace. Consequently New Pacific launched limited domestic scheduled services from Las Vegas and Reno, however due to poor load factors, these have been dropped. New Pacific now employs their 757s operating charter flights.
DRAW has added a set for the Saudia Boeing 777-300ER. In 2021, Saudia repainted a Boeing 777-300ER in what was first thought to be a ‘retro’ scheme, featuring an updated and brighter version of their earlier green tail scheme with an additional ’75 Years’ logo. However, in 2023 it was announced that Saudia is making the basic version of this their new scheme, and it has since appeared on newly delivered Boeing 787-10s and Airbus A.321NEOs.
DRAW has released their first American Airlines ‘retro scheme’ Airbus A.321 decal. Previously AA decorated Airbus A.319 airframes in schemes reminiscent of the airlines that folded into US Airways over the years. Recently these schemes have been applied to A.321 airframes.
8ADecs has added a new set for the first Emirates Airbus A.350-900 that rolled ut of the Toulouse paint shop recently, and is due for imminent delivery to the airline.
DRAW’s next release is another for the Boeing 767-200ER, in the dark blue US Airways scheme worn before the airline was bought by America West (if you believe US Airways bought AWE, ask yourself why the HQ remained in Arizona, and all the AWE executive retained their positions).
